Location Rules

Control exactly where each field group appears using rule types with AND/OR logic.

Inside SiteNivo → Field Groups → (group editor) → Location Rules.

How logic works

• Rules inside one group are combined with AND (all must match).
• Separate rule groups are combined with OR (any group may match).
• Use + Add Rule Group (OR) for alternate targets (e.g. Pages OR a CPT).

Available rule parameters

• Post Type, Post Status, Post, Page Template, Specific Page, Page, Parent Page
• Taxonomy, Taxonomy Term, Category, Tag
• User Role, Current User, User, Specific User
• Options Page

Examples

• Post Type == book — fields only on Books
• Page Template == templates/contact.php — fields on that template
• Options Page == site-settings — fields on a SiteNivo options screen
